We have scheduled some open workshops in which anyone can learn the basics of Canvas, and will schedule more advanced topics workshops.  Click here to see a list of times and locations.

We are also operating a walk-in Canvas clinic in LIB 107, from 10am – 3pm Monday through Friday, any days that the USF Tampa Library is open.

Sarasota-Manatee Campus

Sarasota-Manatee campus is helping faculty transition to Canvas by offering flexible learning opportunities.  Learn more about their offerings by visiting their faculty support blog. Canvas workshops kicked off Friday November 16th on the Sarasota-Manatee Campus. Official training dates for 2012 are listed on the Fall 2012 Training Schedule . The Spring 2013 training schedule, which includes large group and one-on-one formats, will soon be announced. Faculty and instructors can begin using Canvas as soon as they wish, and some have selected to begin in the Spring 2013. St. Petersburg Campus

The St. Petersburg campus offers flexible learning opportunities designed to help faculty transition from Blackboard to Canvas.  Learn more about their offerings by visiting their website. To date, USF St. Petersburg’s Distance Learning and Instructional Media Services have provided training to over 100 of the 300 faculty members at USFSP. This training consists of overview sessions, migration training, and open lab time where faculty can bring content to our lab and work one-on-one with trainers and instructional designers.
